Meet Shannon Dunham
Shannon is a creator, problem-solver, and has a passion for business. With a background is sales and marketing, she has a couple of start ups under her belt and she just keeps on moving forward to find the niche in a market. Her revelation to fill the need for stylish comfortable furniture came by the need for her to furnish her newly updated condo. Shannon’s passion grew into the intention to have a space for individuals and trade professionals to feel comfortable and inspired, while also providing access to quality products and knowledge without needing to leave the area.
Ultimately, she aims to provide a store to inspire fun design with layering colors, textures, and shapes to furnish a comfortable space.
Meet Amanda Williams
Amanda grew up in the lakes area, attended Spirit Lake high school, and then went on to graduate from the University of Iowa. While working for a parks and recreation department after college, she began refurbishing vintage furniture in her free time. Amanda has always had a thing for rummaging around antique stores to find the perfect piece for a space. While learning more and more about woodworking, she also took up an interest in house plants. At one point, she had almost 25 plants of all different species and sizes in her small Iowa City apartment. "It's a proven fact that plants make people happy, and I want to pass that happiness on to as many people as I can," says Amanda. "We could all use a little more green."
